What hidden fears are driving the behaviour you see?

Wisdom comes from seeing a situation from all perspectives

Why do changes tend to go wrong in projects at work? Normally, it's because everyone in the process (which is always a big variety of a lot of different people who have different skills and different viewpoints) is looking at their own scene of a story rather than the full narrative of what everybody needs to do to make everything as good as possible.

The term Grown-Up Goggles is the metaphor I have devised to impart my professional knowledge to non-project managers on why people act the way they do at work. We don't see things the way they actually are — we view what we are looking at through the filters we have accumulated in our personal and working lives on how we think things are or need to be.

The model G.O.G.G.L.E.S has been created to use this knowledge to change behaviour with more ease and less pain, and achieve better outcomes from the improvement a non-project manager is leading.
